Impacting the World with the Word of God

Prison Ministry

Greetings! Welcome to the CECF Jail Ministry Website. The mission of the CECF Jail Ministry is to plant, to water, to nourish, and in some cases to confirm the word of God which has already been planted in the hearts of man before the foundations of the earth. To Show the true spirit of the living God living in us, as it can live in others, if they would turn from there wicked ways and rededicate their lives to Christ. Our vision falls under the Vision for the House at Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship which states, “A born again, Spirit-filled, gifted, mature, and multi-cultural army of believers in Jesus Christ pursue and live out the destiny and purpose God has established for their lives. An army of thousands under the guidance of Holy Ghost and Spirit directed leadership extend the Kingdom of God to their families, communities, and the urban centers of this world; to literally “turn this world up-side down” an army who have been radically changed through faith in Jesus Christ, and who are living out the Biblical principles of the Kingdom of God in their everyday lives.”

Our group has been blessed to visit four Sundays out of the month, when other churches are still waiting in line to get on a schedule or may only have one Sunday a month to visit. We have been granted permission to visit with the following security institutions:

 The Justice Center

 River City

 Queensgate

 Turning Point

 Talbert House

The services are an hour long in time which consists of praise and worship, testimony, teaching, preaching, and active participation from the inmates.

The CECF Jail Ministry portion of the army of thousands consists of a core group of three. Minister Ronald Caulton, (the kids and teens call him Mr. Ron) Minister Ron is the lead clergy over the jail ministry team. There are two other very anointed members of the team, which without them and their input we would certainly be less effective. Accolades go out to Bobbi Wise and Mamie Moore who are the back bone and ribs of this ministry. These three are currently called to serve this ministry, but we are also very thankful to all participants who have been a part of this ministry at one time or another over the past 28 years.

St. Luke 4:18-19

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

This ministry changes the lives of people who would not have normally come to church. Though this ministry, we and other prison ministries may plant the seed or may water and nourish the seed, but only God can bring forth the increase through changed hearts, minds and actions. We hope that neither you nor any of your family members will ever have to share services of Christ Emmanuel behind bars, but if you do we will be there!
