Missions…Reflection

Our heart and vision is to reflect Jesus through our outreach, both domestically and internationally. We have learned that God is about kingdom building; His kingdom. We will extend the kingdom of God because we understand the power of prayer; and so we pray, as we walk through our communities that are riddled with poverty, want, distress, and teenage death. With prayer we extend the kingdom when we give to feed the hungry, or  we donate a toy, we touch lives and bring hope to  those disenfranchised lives; those who have been trapped by a system that does not promote life, but rather contributes to its staleness and lackluster. 

 Domestically, we continue to work with Whiz Kids to establish a tutoring program for the children of Douglass school. We would like to travel back to New Orleans and the gulf coast states to continue to support the rebuilding efforts after the devastation of Katrina. 

 Internationally, we will travel to Africa in January for a worship experience with Pastor Bennie Fluellin. We are also seeking additional opportunities to return to the Dominican Republic.

 It is because of God’s love that we are saved; it is Christ’s love for mankind that commands us to “go ye therefore and teach all nations…” God we seek your direction as we reach out beyond ourselves to establish your kingdom in the earth.
